Meet, Octane®.

Octane REBrand

The ask was to rebrand Octane, Cardinal Financial’s proprietary Loan Origination System (LOS) and custom-built loan technology, to serve as a standalone technology product and recruiting tool for loan originators.

With enhancements continuously being made to the LOS over the past 15+ years, we set out to promote the innovative, technological benefits of Octane. We focused on highlighting the real-life, practical benefits of the platform, including less stress and worry on the job, better work-life balance, and the gift of time. With a new appearance, this rebrand would position Octane as second-to-none in the industry.

 

Evolve an industry, empower entrepreneurs, and take most of the migraine out of mortgage.

The effort was a culmination of teamwork and creative passion from all who participated. Brand enhancements and team responsibilities included:

  • Refined logo to reflect new brand styling

  • Overhauled color palette and modernized typography

  • Explored neomorphic graphics to serve as a clean “base” for design

  • Developed a first ever front-end design system

My role: Senior Designer (brand book and pitch deck design), Art Director (design and video strategy)
